You can now drag a hyperlink as a text/uri-list. This allows you to
drag a file from "ls" output and drop it on a FileManager to copy
the file there. Truly futuristic stuff!
The buffer positions referred to by a VT::Position now include history
scrollback, meaning that a VT::Position with row=0 is at the start of
the history.
The active terminal buffer keeps moving in VT::Position coordinates
whenever we scroll. This allows selection to follow history. It also
allows us to click hyperlinks in history.
Fixes#957.
It felt too rushed to open links when simply mousedown'ing on them.
Improve this by implementing basic "click" semantics instead.
This patch also introduces the ability to prevent link opening if you
want to force selection instead. Hold shift and we will not open links.
I started adding things to a Draw namespace, but it somehow felt really
wrong seeing Draw::Rect and Draw::Bitmap, etc. So instead, let's rename
the library to LibGfx. :^)
I've been wanting to do this for a long time. It's time we start being
consistent about how this stuff works.
The new convention is:
- "LibFoo" is a userspace library that provides the "Foo" namespace.
That's it :^) This was pretty tedious to convert and I didn't even
start on LibGUI yet. But it's coming up next.
As suggested by Joshua, this commit adds the 2-clause BSD license as a
comment block to the top of every source file.
For the first pass, I've just added myself for simplicity. I encourage
everyone to add themselves as copyright holders of any file they've
added or modified in some significant way. If I've added myself in
error somewhere, feel free to replace it with the appropriate copyright
holder instead.
Going forward, all new source files should include a license header.
When the new font is a different size, just use that font for bold
glyphs as well. It would be nice to find a matching bold version of
the new font automatically in the future.
We were not recomputing the internal dimensions after a font changed,
which caused things to look very off.
It's still not perfect as we're always using the same (small) font for
bold text, which obviously sticks out like a sore pinky when the rest
of the terminal text is large.
The scrollbar width must be factored in, and one too many
m_line_spacing were being factored into the height. These caused an
initial terminal opening in 80x25 to get resized right away and
shrunk down to 77x24.
We never want to alpha blend when rendering the terminal buffer, so we
can just use clear_rect() and avoid trouble.
This fixes an issue with inconsistent translucency in the terminal app
when setting a custom background opacity.
I broke semi-transparent terminals when I added support for alpha
blending to Painter::fill_rect().
When we fill the terminal widget background, we don't want blending to
take place, we're just looking to replace with an exact color, so now
we can use Painter::clear_rect() for that.
Instead of implicitly copying whatever you select, and pasting when you
middle-click, let's have traditional copy and paste actions bound to
Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+V respectively.
Instead of quitting the application immediately when the pty gives an
EOF, fire an on_command_exit hook so the TerminalWidget client can
decide for himself what to do.
